Treasured Nantucket summers are memories that Murray Camp has been providing to children on Nantucket island for over three decades. Our camp philosophy focuses on creating an environment where safety, kindness and fun all flourish. It is the mission of the camp, that every child participating in our programs, experience the opportunity for positive, healthy development. We acknowledge and respect that all children require nurturing through social, emotional, academic and physical enrichment. We strive to provide an atmosphere in which our curriculum and our overall camp environment, encourage this solid foundation.

We have earned a reputation for being a nurturing, stimulating, protective, summer camp in which parents have entrusted their children's care for over thirty years. The camp's founding administrators, whose own children grew up attending the camp, remain directly on site supervising staff and travel with the campers on a daily basis. We hire positive role model staff, many of them former Murray campers themselves, to inspire children toward a sense of responsibility and fair play. We are quite delighted to have many of our former campers returning with children of their own enrolled as campers.

Murray Camp is the perfect place for children to meet new friends and learn from enthusiastic staff. We are proud of the international reputation that our camp has maintained since its founding. In recent years, we have welcomed campers from England, Ireland, France, Italy, Spain, Germany, Sweden, Poland, the Philippines and Japan.
