Greetings Folks. We are very excited to be opening up camp on Monday. As you can imagine, it is a very busy time getting all of our registration forms, medical records and licensing requirements set, not to mention haunting my staff to get their new paper work in! As most of them attended camp as children themselves, I believe that their parents happily pass this haunting privilege on to me.

Our early bird week is a quiet week in which we all thaw out and pinch ourselves frequently, realizing that summer has finally arrived! Honestly, is there a better place on the planet to be spending time at during the summer? I'm fairly well travelled and have yet to find it. I am excited to see all of my old friends. I'm sure that I will be amazed to see how much that they have grown over the year. I am also very excited about meeting my new friends.

I recently got word from Comcast that the underground wires at my island home are somewhat ancient and require being replaced, which will hopefully happen within the next two weeks. I am hoping this cyber-problem will not interfere with publishing schedules, etc. If that does end up being the case, rest assure as we pass out all information needed for the week every Monday morning.

Murray Camp’s Potluck Cookout is rescheduled from this Thursday evening,
July 24th at Miacomet Beach to next Thursday, July 31st due to the weather forecast.

Gas grills and tables will be set up with drinks and condiments. Bring your family’s meats to grill, a favorite dish, and a serving utensil for the potluck tables as well as a blanket to enjoy the sunset!Next Thursday, July 31st, 6-8 pm at Miacomet Beach.
