A family sunset cookout is scheduled mid-summer. Families meet at Miacomet Beach to enjoy an evening of pot luck dinner, games and contests.

Private Functions
Murray Camp also provides quality children's programs for conferences, weddings and private functions throughout the year. The staff of Murray Camp has worked closely over the past 23 years with Island hotels, caterers, groups, and individuals in coordinating delightful events for children, . Summer Party? Reserve Murray Camp to provide a wonderful private party adventure (see previous run, available activities below).
Murray Childrens' Summer Camp operates a private function program entitled "Murray Camp Kids Night Out" in which children delight in the evening activities. Administration and camp counselors from the day camp, staff the activities which are available Tuesday through Saturday evenings.

Minimum reservation requirement is for eight children. Evenings include two camp staff counselors (male and female) equipped with all needed supplies, transportation via a 15 passenger camp van, dinner and dessert! Cost is $60. per child.
