Special Events
A family sunset cookout is scheduled mid-summer. Families four wheel drive out to Miacomet Beach to enjoy an evening of pot luck dinner, games and contests. Family activities have changed annually. They have included Earthtunes Environmental concerts in addition to numerous family performers.

Private Functions
Murray Camp also provides quality children's programs for conferences, weddings and private functions throughout the year. The staff of Murray Camp has worked closely over the past 20 years with Island hotels, caterers, groups, and individuals in coordinating delightful events for children, . Kids Night Out
Murray Childrens' Summer Camp operates an evening program entitled "Kids Night Out". Open to children attending the day camp (Nantucket's oldest childrens' summer camp!) visiting the island for a brief stay, or living on the island year round, all delight in the evening activities. Administration and camp counselors from the day camp, staff  the activities run Tuesday through Saturday evenings. The children are picked up at 6 p.m. from the Children's Beach Entrance and brought back to the Children's Beach Entrance at 9 p.m. They are transported in fifteen passenger vans equipped with cellular phones.

The cost is $40. per activity. Reservations will begin on 6/1/07 via email to: murray.camp@rcn.com. Confirmed reservations are necessary as waiting lists are common
